Sodium Alginates

Alginate is a biopolymer extracted from brown algae that hydrates and makes facial skin more receptive to specific treatments. The calcium salts enable the mask to solidify in a few minutes. Here the dual action carried out by the mask: firstly the occlusion created by the solidifying mixture creates a pressure gradient which facilitates the penetration of the Proline. Secondly, the mineral salts and trace elements, of which alginates are very rich, are slowly released onto the skin, carrying out a toning and firming action on the face.
